4A WEDNESDAY, MAY 23, 2018 EGG HARBOR GALLOWAY TWP. NEWS MULLICA TOWNSHIP Jose A. Ayala Sr, 89, of Mullica Township passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018, at home. Born in San German, Puerto Rico, he was a res- ident of Mullica Town- ship for 30 years. Before retiring, he worked as a taxi cab driver in New York City.

Jose enjoyed playing and listening to Spanish music with his family. He was predeceased by one son, Rafael Naza- rio. He is survived by his wife, Hilda Cruz, four children, Carmen Peter (Ralph), Pedro Nazario, Jose Ayala and Carmen Zambrano (Sandro), thirteen grandchildren, Edgar Nazario, Jerry Ca- salduc (Athena), Denise Casalduc, Darius Nazario, Pedro Nazario, Eric Cabot, Brandon Nazario, Jose Ayala III (Melissa Martinez), Tony Ayala (Alyssa Capaldi), Destiny Ayala, Samantha Abruzzese, Jo- seph Abruzzese, Cassandra Zambrano, eight great grandchildren, Alyssa and Clarissa Casalduc, Jake Sanchez, Keara and Ethan Casalduc and Amari Ayala, Stephen Martinez, Giavanna Capaldi and special family member Adrienne Rivera. A viewing was held at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. in Hammonton. Burial followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hammonton.

Jose A. Ayala Sr. GALLOWAY John C. Boone, 65, of Galloway, passed away on May 12, 2018, at AtlantiCare Re- gional Hospital. He was born in Phil- adelphia, to the late James and Josephine Boone.

John has been a resi- dent of Galloway for over 30 years. He worked for Claridge for over 20 years as a Security Supervi- sor. John loved the outdoors including the beach, fishing and grilling. He loved to go out to eat. John loved the Phillies and the Eagles, he was a true fan.

He is predeceased by his parents, James and Jo- sephine Boone and his siblings, Janice and Jimmy. John is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Marie; his beautiful daughter, Brittany, he was very proud of all her accomplishments in- cluding her BS degree in accounting; his siblings, Tom (Jeanette) and Susan; and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dogs, Gracie, Tyson and Sandy and his granddogs, Rascal and Lucy. John will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone.

The family asks that you wear an Eagles or Phill- ies Jersey in his memory. Visitations were held at the Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Road, Galloway. Pitney Road, Galloway, NJ 08205. John C. Boone ATLANTIC CITY Juan Gabriel Cruz-Or- tiz was born April 29, 1980, in Manhattan, NY. He is the son of Efrain and Luz (Ortiz) Cruz. He was employed by Trump Plaza Hotel Ca- sino as an EVS worker.

He is survived by: his parents, Efrain Luz (Ortiz) Cruz; children, Juanneja Williams-Cruz and Marcus Gunn; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services were held on May 18, 2018, at the Greenidge Funeral Homes, 301 Abse- con Boulevard, Atlan- tic City. Interment fol- lowed in Atlantic City Cemetery. Juan Gabriel Cruz-Ortiz ATLANTIC CITY Jose Enrique Vazquez Nunez, 54, of Atlantic City, died May 13, 2018. Jose was born Nov.

26, 1963, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, to Alejan- drian Nunez and Jose Enrique Vazquez. He worked in the Tropicana Casino Hotel as a dishwasher. He is survived by: his parents; children, Ricky, Danny and Tisha Vaz- quez; siblings, Hector, Maria and Luz Vazquez; the Nunez Family and a host of other family and friends. A visitation was held at the Greenidge Fu- neral Home, 301 Ab- secon Boulevard, At- lantic City. Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Land- ing.

Jose Enrique Nunez GALLOWAY Elizabeth Ganiel, 83, of Galloway passed away on May 11, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born in Yugoslavia to the late Michael and Eva (nee, Unterreiner) Puhl. Elizabeth loved to spend time with her grandchildren and cheer- ing them on at their sports games. She loved going on cruises and va- cations. You could always find Elizabeth watching the game show network or the Phillies games.

She is predeceased by her parents, Michael and Eva Puhl; husband, William; sons, Mickey and Mark; and her granddaughter, Jessica. Elizabeth is survived by her children, Rose (Da- vid) Bucci, David Ganiel, Greg Ganiel, Donna (Peter) Catanese, Lisa (Eric) Keating, and Christina (Larry) Ballard; sister, Eva Patten; grandkids, Mark, Danielle, Michelle, Justine, Ryan, Jared, Aidan, Bryce, and Cole; and 6 great-grandkids. She will lovingly be missed by all who knew her. A visitation was held at the Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Ave, Egg Harbor City. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at the St.

Nicholas Church in Egg Harbor City. Interment followed at Germania Cemetery in Galloway. Elizabeth Ganiel PORT REPUBLIC Susan French Perri, 70, of Port Republic, passed away in her home on May 12, 2018 with her family by her side.

memory is carried forward by her children Kevin Collins and Jessica Perri, her grandchildren Violet and Harlynn and her siblings Ardrey, Samuel and Daniel. Susan also leaves behind a large community of family and friends whose lives she touched and for whom she cared deeply. Susan was born in Camden to Samuel T. French Jr. and Ardrey C.

French. The family came to Port Republic on weekends until her parents relocated permanently in the early 1970s. She was married twice, first to James Collins who died in 1975 and later to Rick Perri. Susan worked in the South Jersey area for over 40 years making dear friends along the way at The Atlantic City Press, Ballys and then at several design showrooms for kitchen and bath. Susan was active in St.

Methodist Church in Port Republic for much of her life, and enjoyed singing in the choir. Susan played the piano and loved hymns, particularly the Besides the creek view from her backyard where she enjoyed planting flowers alongside blooming lilacs, favorite place in the world was Brigantine Beach. She liked to put her chair just at the edge so the incoming waves would touch her feet as she soaked up the sun. In the winter, her home was transformed into a celebratory wonderland for her children, her friends and her cat, Annie who was a long-time companion and friend. Susan will be remembered for her warmth and compassion, and for her acts of kindness.

She was always helping friends and neighbors by bringing them food or lending a sympathetic ear. Her kitchen table was a regular stop for a wide range of people who needed advice, or just a quick laugh. smile lit up the room wherever she went and she will be missed dearly by friends and family near and far. The family extends their sincere gratitude for the overwhelming kindness, daily support and prayers they have received from so many wonderful friends during battle with cancer. Also, a special thanks to Visiting Angels, Holy Redeemer and Penn latter two of which donations may be made on behalf.

Services will be held at St. Methodist Church in Port Republic on Friday, May 25 at 10 a.m. and her ashes will be laid to rest in the cemetery following the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway 609-641-0001.

Susan French Perri ABSECON Alba Marie Simon (Tata) died peace- fully in Absecon on May 11, 2018. She was 91 years old. Alba was born on Aug.

12, 1926, in Frankford, to Gaetano and Enes Tata. Before moving to South Jersey, Alba and her then-husband Milt ran a nursery that grew geraniums for local de- partment stores in Feasterville, Pa. They then re- located to Atlantic City, where they owned and operated the Bea-Ann Motel. She later managed the Twin Screws Motel in Brigantine, and then finally worked as supervisor of housekeeping at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City until she retired. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing at Dom in Absecon, and playing bingo.

Alba is preceded in death by her brothers Angelo, Andrew and John Tata and her daughter Florence Matkovich. She is survived by her daughters Alba McKenna and Joyce Meloni; her grandchildren Keith Bartley (Traci), Sarah McKenna (fiance Joe Walker), Jimmy McKenna (girlfriend Kristen), Jimmy Meloni (Er- ica), and Julian Meloni (Katie); niece Enes Ring (Tom); great-grandchildren Cortni and Nathan Bartley, Monte and Knox Meloni, and soon-to- be born Jaxon Walker; and sons-in-law Roscoe Bartley (Debra) and Fran McKenna. A celebration of life was held on May 18, 2018, at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 525 St. Louis Egg Harbor City, which was followed by Mass.

Burial was in Egg Harbor City Cemetery. Alba Marie Simon MARGATE Alma Lee Heiler, 58, of Margate, passed away suddenly on May 8, 2018. Born on March 3, 1960, she will be lovingly re- membered by her four brothers and sisters, Jo- anne Heiler Crandall, Jo- seph Heiler, John Heiler (Debbie) and Sharon Heiler, her four chil- dren, Jacquelyn Duran (Joseph), Stephen Duran (Kristina), Lisa Duran and Scott Heiler, her three grandchildren, Isabella, Kara and Stephen, and many nieces and nephews. Alma was kindhearted towards all who crossed her path in life. She held family close to her heart and loved being a grandmother.

She will be re- membered for spending her rare free time at her favorite beach in Margate. Alma worked at the Cup and Saucer in Atlantic City and will be fondly remembered by her friends and co-workers who knew her there. Private services were held at Boakes Funeral Home in Mays Landing. Her ashes will be laid to rest in Atlantic City Cemetery. Alma Lee Heiler EGG HARBOR TOWN- SHIP Genevieve Delores Testa) 85, of Egg Harbor Township passed away peacefully at Seashore Gardens Living Center on Monday, May 14, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a grad- uate of Hammonton High School. Mrs. Campione enjoyed music, dancing and cooking. Her smile and happy spirit touched ev- eryone.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anna Testa (nee Saia) and her granddaughter, Breanne Marie Petrilli. Mrs. Campione is survived by her five children, Joann (Bill) Anthony J. Campione, Bruce Campione (Ali- cia) all of Hammonton; Renee Laielli (Joe) of Egg Harbor Township; Toni Petrilli (Jodi) of Egg Harbor City; two sisters, Grace Benedetto and Shirley Coia both of Hammonton; one brother, Joseph Testa of Cherry Hill; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She will be terribly missed by many and will always remain in our hearts forever.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated May 18, 2018, in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. 226 French Hammonton. Burial followed in Greenmount Cemetery.

Memorial do- nations may be made to the charity of choice. Genevieve Delores Campione MAYS LANDING Jean M. Gross, 79, of Mays Landing, passed away on May 10, 2018, with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her mother, Thelma Kaiser and granddaugh- ter, Amanda Jeanette Kelly, of Mays Landing. Jean is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Lawrence J.

Gross and her chil- dren Lawrence J. Gross, Jr. and his wife, Joan, Anthony Gross (Chris Schultz) and Denise Quaranta and her husband, Joseph, all of Mays Landing. She is also survived by her three granddaugh- ters, Jessica Ann Gross, Brittany Jean Gross and Alexa F. Quaranta.
