ATLANTIC COUNTY RECORD4A WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2017 EGG HARBOR CITY Louise Ashworth, 88, of Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2017. She was born in Galloway, New Jersey. She attended the Egg Har- bor City School System. In 1944, Louise married Benjamin S. Ashworth.

She worked for Pem- broke and other clothing factories as a seamstress. Louise was an avid reader and puzzle whiz. Her other passions were gardening and as she was affectionately known, was the beloved mother of all. Her door was always open. She saw the beauty in the simplest of things from the shapes of clouds to the colors of trees.

Louise is predeceased by: sons, Benjamin, Erwin, and Ken- neth Ashworth. Louise leaves to mourn: children, Gwendolyn Walker, Lorraine Anderson, Felicia Edwards and Eloy Ashworth; 24 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Robert, Michelle and Adrienne and a host of other family and friends. kind and gentle spirit will live on through the memories of those she loved and will surely be missed. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 19, 2017, Shiloh Baptist Church, 640 Philadelphia Avenue, Egg Harbor City. Interment followed in Germania Cemetery, Galloway.

Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Homes, Atlantic City, where condolences may be left at www.greenidgefuner alhomes.com Louise Ashworth WEST ATLANTIC CITY Victor Francesco 100, a resident of West Atlantic City for 67 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home Thursday, Decem- ber 14, 2017. Born April 10th, 1917 in Atlantic City as the youngest of eight, he attended Atlan- tic City Trade School and in 1942 began active duty in the United States Military, as a radar operator, on the island of Ai- tutaki, one of the Cook Islands in the South Pa- cific. He received honorable discharge from the military in 1945, and went on to own and operate two well-known eateries: Sub on Main Street in Pleasantville, a crowd-pleaser in the early 1950s, and later a pop- ular restaurant in West Atlantic City which also served as a local hangout for all ages until 1968. Many may remember Vic for his 35 year tenure as the most entertaining character behind the bar at Oyster Creek Inn in Leeds Point. Known for his humorous antics, fun conversation, and tasty drinks that were more often than not served with a warm (and sometimes playfully mischievous) smile.

The stories from his time at Oyster Creek are those of legends among his closest friends and family members. He was notoriously generous, kind, quick with a quip that could always lighten the mood, and would serve a meal to anyone that would let him. He loved sitting outside in the sun, chatting with his closest and oldest friend Russ Hutchinson, and always looked forward to visiting his great-granddaughter Vanessa at The Gilchrist Restaurant in Margate. He celebrated his birthday as a centenarian in April of this year that was joy- fully attended by friends and family spanning over six decades. He is survived by his children, Rick, (Barbara) Lisa, (Mike) and Bryan, (Victoria), six grandchildren, Victor, Chrissy, Michael, Anthony, Ricky and Ashley and nine great-grandchildren.

A visitation was on Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 724 Maple Ave in Linwood. A Mass of Christian Burial followed. final resting place is at Holy Cross Ceme- tery in Mays Landing. (Charlie) 87, of Galloway, passed away on December 8, 2017, at Spring Village at Gallo- way, after a courageous battle with Disease. Born in Atlan- tic City, Charlie resided in Absecon and Gallo- way Twp. for most of his life. Charlie started his ceramic tile career at Campbell Tile Company, in Atlantic City, and then went on to work at Avalon Tile and Marble Company, where he was a supervisor for many of the Casino projects. Upon retiring, Charlie and his late wife, Joann, spent many good years enjoying the beautiful weather and many friends at Boca Ciega Estates in Largo, Florida.

He was a former National Guards- man, a member of the Bricklayers Union, an avid fisherman and duck hunter. He was also always ready to help anyone on a house project. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Charles J. Neely Sr. and Catherine (Brennan) Neely, and his late wife, Joann Neely.

He leaves behind, his loving daughter, Cynthia Neely Smith and her husband, Joseph T. Smith his grandchildren, Joseph T. Smith III (Kurry) and Marci Smith Driscoll (David); his five great-grandchildren, Audrey Smith, Hadley Smith, Joseph T. Smith IV, Charles Driscoll, and Declan Driscoll; loving sisters, Sally Calebrese and Laura Burns (John); nieces Cathleen and Christine and nephews, Francis, Robert, Jeffrey and Jamie. We as a family, would like to express our sincere thanks to all the staff at Spring Village at Galloway and to Grace Healthcare Services, for their Love, Kindness, and Compassion to Charlie and to all of us.

A Mass of Christian Burial was Celebrated for Charles J. Neely, Jr. Thursday morning, December 14, 2017, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Church of the Assumption, 146 South Pitney Road, Galloway. The Rite of Committal was offered at Laurel Memorial Park Cemetery, Tilton Road, Egg Harbor Township, following Mass. Weber, 81, of Hammonton, beloved husband, father and grandfather went home to his Lord And Savior surrounded by his lov- ing family on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at At- lantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township.

Born June 27, 1936 in Elwood he was a lifelong resident of the Elwood and Hammonton area. Mr. Weber served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. Before re- tiring he worked as a truck driver for Arawak Paving Co.

in Hammonton. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Lo- cal No. 331 in Atlantic City. He enjoyed being in the outdoors especially his summers and winters camping, boating and fishing with the family he loved unconditionally. He was a longtime active, and faithful member of the Hammonton Baptist Church, where he served as Head of the Deacon Board, and was formerly a member of the Trustee Board.

Mr. Weber was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah J. Marro, his sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Anita Tharp, and his brother, Herbert Weber. He is survived by his loyal and loving wife, Frances E. Weber (nee Capelli) one daughter, Frances Bertino (John) all of Hammonton, four grandchildren, Anthony Joseph Marro, Krystal Lynn Marro, John E.

Bertino (Grace), and Jamie Coke (Larry), two great grandchildren, Caleb and Connor, and two brothers, Robert Weber (Pat) and Nelson Weber (Lorraine). A viewing was held on Tues- day, December 19, 2017 at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third Street in Hammonton, were funeral services followed. age 53 of Hammonton, passed away December 15, 2017. Richard was born September 14, 1964 and was raised in Hammonton. He lived in North Carolina from 2000-2015 and in Florida for the past 3 years. He was a past member of Ce- dar Brook and Winslow Twp.Volunteer Fire Depts. Richard worked for NASCAR on the fire crew at the Daytona 500 and was a licensed paramedic for the past 16 years.

Richard enjoyed boating in his free time. He is predeceased, by his parents Richard G. Valentino Sr. and Nancy (nee Marro) Valentino. He is survived by his sister Nancy Ann and her children, his nephew and niece Jay and Valentina Romer, who cared for him during his final days, his sister Lisa Ann and her children Jo- seph, Andrew and Abbigail.

Loving great uncle to Jaxon and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend his Church visitation Saturday Dec 23rd at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish- St. Joseph Church 3rd French Sts.

Valentino Jr. EGG HARBOR TOWN- SHIP Brian E. Wester- gom, 30, of Egg Harbor Township passed away suddenly on Friday De- cember 15, 2017 at home. He attended Galloway Twp Schools and grad- uated from Egg Harbor Township high school and then joined the Army Reserve in Jacksonville Fl. He traveled several years with the Hamid Circus and spent 5 years living in Fort Wayne In.

Brian loved to write and had written several books and short stories. He loved to play the harmonica and entertain his friends and family. Brian loved music and was a huge Beatles fan his favorite song being Strawberry Fields Forever. He is predeceased by his grandmothers May Edwards and Pearl West- ergom and his loving cousin John Davis III. He is survived by his parents Patricia Lee of EHT and Barry Westergom of his twin brother Anthony John Westergom and his brother An- drew Lee.

As well as his grandfather several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Rest in peace Brian you will be so sadly miss by all your family and friends. Services for Brian were on Thursday, December 21st, at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd, in Northfield. A viewing was until the time of the service. Interment did follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Mays Landing.

Westergom DOROTHY Cynthia (Cindy) Lesniewski, a devoted wife, mother, friend and resident of Dorothy, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Decem- ber 11, 2017 at the age of 55. Cindy is survived by her parents, John Cremer and Margaret Campbell- Caudry; her husband, Stephen Lesniewski; her son, Shawn Lesniewski; her brothers; Christopher Cremer and Charles Cremer; her step-parents Bob Caudry and Pat Cremer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cindy was born on November 10, 1962, on US Army Base Fort Campbell, Kentucky. She graduated Annandale High School where she was an elite swimmer, receiving multiple awards for her abilities.

She attended West Chester University soon after; Cindy married Stephen on June 11, 1988, and on December 1, 1988, together they welcomed their son Shawn into the world. Cindy worked for Lenox China for numerous years. When she retired from Lenox, she began acquiring an extensive and diverse skillset through her post-re- tirement employment. Cindy was truly successful at anything she tried and would never hesitate to lend a hand to anyone in need. She loved spending time outdoors, whether it was at the beach or in the woods.

She also loved horses and cared for them throughout her life. She was an avid fan of Jimmy Johnson and Tim Ott. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. The viewing was on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Mays Landing; immediately followed by a short service for all who wished to attend, along with a final ceremony at Holy Cross Cemetery.
