MAINLAND JOURNAL4A WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 13, 2017 WINSLOW James W. Ammann, age 52, of Win- slow, NJ passed away on November 28, 2017. He is survived by his loving mother Aliana Ammann, brother Rob- ert J. Ammann, and beloved aunt Kather- ine Byrianycz. Jim was preceased by his father Robert R.

Ammann. Jim was an insurance indus- try executive for over 30 years. He was a graduate of Rutgers Business School where he earned his MBA. He held various insurance industry degrees including CPCU and CRM. Jim also had various philanthropic affiliations.

He served as past NJ State Grand Master of Odd Fellows. He also served as Past President of the Hammonton Rotary Club. Jim currently served as a state Rotary District Governor. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity and many achievements in life. Funeral services were held at St.

Ammann SWEETWATER Kim- berly A. Andrews (Nee Norris) 62, of Sweetwater passed away at her home November 28, 2017 after a short battle with can- cer. She will be greatly missed by all her family. Kim was born October 12, 1955 and grow up in Absecon. She attended Absecon schools, grad- uated Pleasantville High School and then later received a degree in com- puter science at Stockton University.

She started working after High school in banking where she met the love of her life, Mark. Kim then went on to open Resorts International casino where she worked for 20 years. After returning to college she began working as a computer tech for ADP Inc. where she still was employed. An avid reader, Kim always had a book in hand.

She also loved to travel, sitting on a beach or at the pool, with her sisters, palm trees swaying with a drink in hand and smile. Kim also enjoyed traveling to Vegas, the Grand Canyon and Tennessee with her hus- band. But, mostly Kim loved being a homebody with her husband watching old classic movies or binge watching Netflix. Waiting in heaven for her will be her father Charles Norris of Absecon. She is survived by her loving husband Mark, her Mother Barbara Norris (Nee Cramer), Sisters Kathy DeMari (Michael), Kelly Barbetto (Mark), Karen Egan (Brian), Kristin Malone (Kevin) all of Absecon and her wonderful sister-in-law Loren Andrews of Sweetwater whom these past weeks has taken such good care of Kim and whom Kim loved as a sister.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss Aunt Minnie greatly. Her Family would like to extend special thanks to all the Hospice nurses and staff. Kimberly A. Andrews CAPE MAY COURT HOUSE Matthew Vin- cent Ecker born August 2, 1965 died November 27, 2017. Matt struggled with mental illness as best he could for as long as he was able, but the manner of passing in no way defines life. Matt was a won- derful, loving father to Matthew Charles and Michelle Christine. He is also survived by his siblings Bill, Ed, Kathy, Karen and Nancy.

Matt was predeceased by both his father, Ernest and his mother, Esther. Matt was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved skiing he and his dad went together often. Matt loved football. He and Mi- chelle avidly followed the Eagles from the time she was born.

He loved music, something he shared with his son Matthew. Both Matthew and Michelle participated in marching band in high school and Matt never missed a performance. Matt was a professional engineer something that made his dad extraordinarily proud. He ran a very success- ful small business for over 10 years in addition to his full-time occupation. He was greatly loved and he will be greatly missed.

Friday, December 1, 2017 there was a gathering and memorial ser- vice at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Mays Landing. Chappine (nee In- gemi) age 96 of Ham- monton, passed away peacefully at home on December 4, 2017 with her loving family by her side. Rose was born and raised in Hammonton. Rose was predeceased by her husband Felici Chappine, her parents Joseph and Anna Ingemi, sister Pauline Rodio and brothers, Matthew, Frank, Dominic, Joe and John Ingemi. Surviving are her loving children, Lee (Sopiko) Chappine, Frank (Lorrie) Chappine, Joseph (Sandra) Chappine, Thomas (Patty) Chappine and Roseann (Ste- phen) Struble, two sisters Jeanette Hughes and Ann DiFilippo, two sister-in-laws Marie Ingemi and Beatrice Ingemi, three brother-in laws Frank Chiappine (Ada), Tip DiDonato, and John Calder- one (Sharon). Loving grandmother of 16, Great Grandmother of 10, and many nieces and neph- ews.

Rose was a seamstress at Kessler Clothing Factory until her marriage in 1947. She was a wonderful homemaker, devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and bake for her family and friends. Her specialties were gnocchi and biscotti. She also loved watching her children and grandchildren playing sports.

She never missed a game from Little League all the way through high school. Rose will be dearly missed by all. Family and friends were invited to attend her viewing Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Parish-St Joseph Church 3rd French Sts. Hammonton. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 124 S. First Rd.

Cloyd, age 70 of Folsom, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2017 at At- lantiCare in Galloway Twp. Joe was born in in Erie, PA. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Ham- monton American Legion Post 186, Hammon- ton V.F.W.

Post DAV Chapter Civil War Col. Francine Camp In March 28, 2009 he received the Atlantic County Award and the Atlantic County American Legion County Historian award in March 27, 2010. Joe worked for the Hammonton Board of Education, in the maintenance dept. and retired after 13 years of service, he also worked for the Morano Paper Co. in Hammonton, NJ.

He is predeceased by his parents Henry Cloyd and Alice Cloyd Priest and his wife Kathryn (nee Pedrick). Surviving are his sisters, Mary (Charles) Carlson of Tampa, FL, and Margie (Jerry) Luthringer of Erie, PA and his brothers, Bruce Cloyd (Christa) of Hayes- ville, KS and Daniel Cloyd (Ann) of Conway, AR and a step-sister, Dawn Ecalono of Belaire, Md. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends were invited to attend his viewing Tuesday with funeral service following all at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third Street Hammonton.

Cloyd DELAWARE TOWN- SHIP Eileen (Lafferty) Griffin Age 72, passed away the evening of No- vember 23, 2017 with her family by her side. Born September 12, 1945 at home in Delaware Town- ship (Cherry Hill) to John and Theodosia Laf- ferty she was one of nine children. She grew up in Delaware Township until she graduated high school. In 1965 she married Mickey Griffin and settled in Mt. Laurel where she made a home filled with love, happy times, good food and a welcoming place for all that visited.

For over 30 years Eileen has owned and operated Pleasant Valley Campground with her family. She helped make a beautiful place for families to come and relax and enjoy. Eileen lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed spending time with family celebrating holidays, traveling, and taking photos of things she loved like flowers, butterflies, and family. She especially adored her grandchildren, who could do no wrong in her eyes.

A person of deep faith in God, that embraced life, she nurtured and in- spired everyone that knew her. Eileen is survived by her beloved husband Mickey of 52 years, son Mick Griffin (Lana) of Ocean City, NJ, daughters Mollie Amato (Anthony) of Medford Lakes, NJ, Amy McComb (Mickie) of Upper Township, NJ; grandsons Anthony and Austin Amato, and grand- daughters Cassidy and Keely McComb. She will be deeply missed. Eileen Griffin PORT REPUBLIC John (Jack) W. Guenther, 65 of Port Republic, NJ passed away suddenly after a long battle with Pancreatic cancer on November 30, 2017.

Jack was a 21 year employee with Galigani Demoli- tion in Farmington, NJ. Later, Jack earned his union book and was a proud member for 30 years with Local 825 Operating Engineers. Jack enjoyed boating, camping, motorcycling, classic cars, and was a long-time member of Red Bones Hunting Club located in Cologne, NJ. most celebrated achievement was spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family, friends and especially lifelong best friend George Reichenbach. Also to be remembered as a third son is Dan Gregson.

Jack will be remembered for his loving devotion to his family, his sharp wit, and caring personality. Jack was predeceased by his parents Albert A. Guenther and Claire Woodard. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Eugenia (Jean), his sons John (Jay) W. Guenther Jr.

(Patricia), Joseph M. Guenther, Mandi Johnson, and grandchildren Lori Ann, Nicholas, Keith Hartwell Jr. and Joshua. Jack is also survived by his siblings Albert Guenther (Sharon) and Paul Guenther (Kerri); brothers-in-laws Michael Neri, Bob Esposito, Nick Maggi, and Rocco Maggiand; sisters-in-law Annette Neri and Vickie Esposito; and all his beloved nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by David Heaton (Chris).

A visita- tion was held Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Avenue, Egg Harbor City. There was a brief visitation on Thursday, December 7th at Wimberg Funeral Home, followed by Mass at St Nicholas Church, 525 St. Louis Avenue. Burial was held following Mass at Egg Harbor City Cemetery, NJ. In Lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated to St.

Research Hospital. For directions and condolences, please visit wimbergfuneralhome.com John (Jack) W. Guenther Sr. NORTHFIELD Ste- ven Metz, 63, of North- field, passed away sud- denly on December 4th, 2017. Born in Atlantic City, grew up in Lin- wood acquiring many friends.

Active in sports and antics, especially with best friend, George Helfrich. He excelled at many sports and enjoyed playing many pranks on his friends and neighbors. MRHS Class of 1972, and went on to become a legend on the softball field. Employment highlights include Lenox creator of the Starlight Lounge, long career at Caesars winning employee awards. Volunteering in the community for Special Olympics, ARC, Northfield Community School Board, coaching sports teams, Northfield parades.

Steve loved spending time with family and friends on the Longport beach. Avid Eagles and Phillies fan. Enjoyed cold ones with friends, golfing, perfect- ing his lawn, memorable barbecues and Harley Incredible father, brother, son and friend. Had an infectious laugh, told the best sto- ries and genuinely cared for others. This special man will be incredibly missed by all.

Survived by daughter Stephanie; mother Connie; siblings Linda (Wayne), Billy, Chrissy (Dan); Wayne (Jenna), Scott, Kelly, Jessica, Nina, Juli, Av- erie; step-mother Loretta; girlfriend Janet Knight. Preceded by father, William Metz; grandmother June Dalton; and his Labradors. A viewing was held on Friday, December 8th at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, and again on Saturday, December 9th at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 724 Maple Avenue, Linwood. A Mass of Christian Burial did follow. Interment was held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.

Steven Metz EGG HARBOR TOWN- SHIP Rayeann Jane Strang, 76 of Egg Harbor Township passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 3rd with her family by her side. Rayeann was born in Atlantic City and was an area resident all of her life. She worked many years at the Cae- Hotel Casino. She is survived by her loving husband, Larry, her children; George Liggett Bethany), Karen Houser, and Dawn Jenkins (Ben), six grandchildren, one great grandson, and her brother Charles Ziegler.

A Visitation was held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Adams-Per- fect Funeral Home 1650 New Road, Northfield. A Funeral Service followed. Burial was at Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the American Diabe- tes Foundation 575 Route 28, Building Suite 2107, Raritan, NJ 08869.
