Earl Barber, 95, of Vineland, passed away January 2, 2016. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he lived in Absecon for over 40 years, before moving to Vineland 11 years ago. Earl was a US Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was honorably discharged as a Gunners Mate 3rd Class. He is predeceased by his wife, Charlotte Mae Barber and his parents, Edgar and Buelah Barber; his brothers and sister, Edgar, Milton and Doris.

He is survived by his son, Larry (Lynn) Barber; his grandchildren, Richard, Diana and Anita; his 4 great- grandchildren; and 5 great- great-grandchildren. Rose was born in London, England on September 21, 1928. She survived the WWII bombings of London and at age 18 traveled alone to America to marry her wartime sweetheart John, who was stationed in England and served as a gunner on B-17 bombers.

Rose was a long time employee of NJ Bell Telephone. She is survived by her only child Paul and his wife Debra, her grandsons David and James and their wives Sarah and Sarah, and her great grandchildren Thomas, Daniel, Lia and Carina. A viewing and short service commenced on January 17 at Parsels Funeral Home, 324 New Jersey Absecon. Burial followed at Laurel Memorial Park, Egg Harbor Twp. All who knew Rose are welcomed to attend.

Barbara has six grandchildren: Jessica Aponte of Galloway, Jenna Aponte of Mays Landing, David (Margot Collins) Miller of Mays Landing, Deanna Aponte of Galloway, Allison (Dave) Andrews of Absecon, and the baby, Amanda Conlow of eld. Barbara also has three amazing great grandchildren. Barbara was predeceased by her brothers, Albert and Michael Wilson. She is also survived by her sister, Ruth Formica of Smithville; and her brother, George (Angie) Wilson of Point. A private burial is planned.
